UCSD Drop-off: (July 3-28)
For morning drop-off, you may arrive as early as 8:30 on Monday morning, and 8:45 the rest of the week.
For 1pm drop-off, you may arrive as early as 12:30 on Monday, and 12:45 the rest of the week.
We will have a staff member at the curb with a sign for our group, so you can drop off your child there, or feel free to walk him or her onto the campus. Classes are in the Dolores Huerta – Philip Vera Cruz room.
UCSD Pick-up:
For noon pick-up, please arrive by 12:15; for 4pm pick-up, please arrive by 4:15.
Getting to the UCSD Student Center: (July 3-28)
From North County: Take the 5 South to the La Jolla Village Drive exit. Turn right on La Jolla Village Drive, and continue about 1/4 mile to Villa La Jolla Road and turn right. It ends at Gilman, where you take a left. Follow it until Eucalyptus Grove and turn right. One of us will be there from 8:30-9 to sign in students so you don’t have to park. If you arrive late, just park and walk through the Student Center (past the bike shop) and up the steps, and our classroom is right there.
There’s limited visitor parking in the lot to your right and may park in any spot marked “VP” with a parking validation you can buy from the meters near the stairs and elevators.
From east of the 5 (University City, Clairemont, Tierrasanta, and points east) to UCSD: Take the 52 West and go north at the 5. Take your first exit at Gilman Drive, then turn left onto Gilman. Follow it all the way into campus. Take your second left at Eucalyptus Grove. You will see a small parking lot on your right. Turn into it. One of us will be there from 8:30-9 to sign in students so you don’t have to park. Additional Parking: You can continue on Gilman past Eucalyptus Grove about 1/4 mile to the Gilman Parking Structure which will be on your left. You may park in any spot marked VP with a paid ticket from the parking meter. You can purchase tickets from 1-12 hours.
